This policy describes how Polktab uses cookies and similar browser storage. We keep tracking minimal and do not use third-party advertising cookies.

Strictly Necessary Cookies

These cookies are required for secure operation:

• polktab_admin_session — Authenticates administrative users. HttpOnly, Secure (production), SameSite=Lax. Expires after 8 hours of inactivity or on logout.
• polktab_client_session — Authenticates client portal users after reference number and email verification. HttpOnly, Secure (production), SameSite=Lax. Expires after 7 days or on logout.

Local Storage (Not Cookies)

Theme preference (polktab-theme) is stored in browser localStorage to remember light or dark mode. This data stays on your device and is not sent to our servers.

Analytics

We do not currently deploy third-party analytics cookies (such as Google Analytics) on this website. If this changes, we will update this policy and request consent where required by law.

Managing Cookies

You can delete cookies through your browser settings. Disabling session cookies will prevent admin and client portal login from working until you sign in again.
